This book was a real dream job! Working on a search and find project is always a treat, but working on one that includes all kinds of tiny vehicles and all kinds of tiny animal characters was a blast! Thanks to Editions Auzou I had an opportunity to do what I love the most again! Merci beaucoup!
All The Birds You Can Imagine
I went through the Auzou sticker suitcase which I have blogged about earlier here. And I have to say I haven't realized how many bird species I illustrated in the process! Still, I had so much fun creating them, that I didn't even pay attention to the amount of work I had to do - ha! That's a winner, right? You probably won't be able to take this suitcase for a holiday with you (although it does meet both ryanair and wizzair cabin bag restrictions!) but it could still fit plenty of goodies! Newbie from the wonderful Auzou Editions full of forest and mountain animals just made me happy instantly! To be honest I still have a few dream projects on my check list, but sometimes a dream job really looks like a paper suitcase full of bear stickers. Enjoyed working on this a lot!

Hey there! Long time no posting, I know! So much has been going on in the past few months, I did some travelling for most of September and it just seem to show a lot in my workflow haha! Anyway, I've been busy ever since and just this weekend I have completed a new project of animal stickers for Auzou Editions. I just love working with them, their projects are always so much fun! Les Saisons book by Auzou soon!
I am so proud to show a little sneak peek of my most recent work for the wonderful French publisher Auzou. This seasons book is a part of the Mon Animagier series and Auzou has already produced quite a few books in the pack. I think it must be a blast for every little kid to have one of these (I know I would enjoy this quite a lot!) since it is full of moving mechanisms and flaps. Working on a Seasons Book
This week I have to finish up two books. That's the moment when you don't know what your name is anymore or which folder to open when you turn on your computer in the morning. But then Duro, my fellow illustrator, comes to the studio, looks at my screen and says I drew both George Bush Sr and Barbara Bush in the picture. And here they are! Sitting on a bench on a lovely autumn day. Yeah! So this year, we can all look forward to a book full of seasons featuring the Bushes. Princess Stickers by Auzou Out and About
So here I go - a girl raised on legos, electric trains and car race tracks illustrates a set of sweet pink stickers of princesses. I have no clue how this happened to me! Haha! But it was fun and I always enjoy working with the lovely people at Auzou so much that I couldn't resist taking this on! I hope I coped with dignity, keeping the six year old me in mind!
