Hello there! I still haven't managed to go get a haircut, but I did get some neat samples of the Alice in Wonderland book I illustrated last Winter! I have to say I was a bit shocked by the haircut that Alice got on the cover, but now I think it looks really fun and hope the little ones will like it, too, haha! The book is full of touch and feel elements which are really quirky. It should be available on Amazon or Bookdepository (if not yet, then very soon). Where are you headed in this hellish weather? It's so hot outside I am happy to look at some ice and snow on the screen in front of me. Keeping my fingers crossed for all of us!

Classic Tales

I know I have kept silent on this tiny little facebook place of mine for a while - would be nice if I could say I was on a vacation, but unfortunately, I wasn't. The reason there was not a single word uttered here is simple - I was working on a set of children's books! If you ever think of illustrating 4 books at once, stop yourself right there. I love my job, that is true, but I also love chocolate, and if I ate 4 kilos of it at once, I would probably not love it that much and puke as well. (I have not puked from illustrating these, don't worry!) Anyways, as much as I wish I was smarter and allowed myself more time for these babies, I am so so so happy I could work on the titles like Pinocchio or Goldilocks and Three Bears (all time favorite of my little sister!) Will keep you posted when they appear on our planet. Off to finally cleaning my place and getting a haircut. Hello, life!

Les Saisons book by Auzou soon!

I am so proud to show a little sneak peek of my most recent work for the wonderful French publisher Auzou. This seasons book is a part of the Mon Animagier series and Auzou has already produced quite a few books in the pack. I think it must be a blast for every little kid to have one of these (I know I would enjoy this quite a lot!) since it is full of moving mechanisms and flaps. Les Saisons book should be available online in a couple of months, I'll keep you posted!

Sticker Books Samples

Long time no see! But hey, I got my illustrator's samples of the color and sticker books I did for Yoyo Books last year. The covers look really neat with the black background! (wish all children's publishers would be more black friendly haha) I'll keep you posted when these go online for sale. Happy Wednesday!

Working on a Seasons Book

This week I have to finish up two books. That's the moment when you don't know what your name is anymore or which folder to open when you turn on your computer in the morning. But then Duro, my fellow illustrator, comes to the studio, looks at my screen and says I drew both George Bush Sr and Barbara Bush in the picture. And here they are! Sitting on a bench on a lovely autumn day. Yeah! So this year, we can all look forward to a book full of seasons featuring the Bushes. School Book Goes to Print

A book about schol goes off to the printers! Up next are a few Christmas titles, yay! From my personal experience it is much better to work on these icy books in February than in August (been there, done that). Just in case you needed to know. I'll keep you posted!

Christmas Book Published in Slovenia!

Christmas Around the World book was recently published in Slovenia! Yay! Thanks to the publishers Albatros and B4U Publishing this book really gets to see the world. A Russian version is in production and I will keep you posted for more.

Usborne Christmas Activity Book

I finally received the Usborne Little Chrildren's Activity book for Christmas! It looks so lovely! It was a great honor for me to cooperate on this book last winter and it is such a nice thing to get the actual book in mailbox. Almost hugged the mail woman yesterday, hah! Jungle Book in progress!

This was fun! I just finished a really exciting project today and that is the Jungle Book - lots of colors, lots of animals, one boy! I will try to post more when I can.

So happy to announce another book with my illustrations is out! HIstoires en pyjama pour les tout-petits was created under the wings of the fab Editions Lito and I had a blast working on this title. Will try to post some images form the book soon!

Pouic Fait Ses Provisions book out soon!

Hello everyone! I am so happy! A book calledPouic fait ses provisions will be published in France in only 7 days! So excited! Thank you Editions Auzou for this lovely opportunity! The book includes 5 sets of puzzles (9 puzzle pieces each) and a lovely story about little squirrel getting ready for winter. I really hope kids have fun with this! Guess what!

Here comes another one from the classic tales! And Little red riding hood is probably the most classic of all the classics, isn't it? I've had so much fun with these! Will be doing some minor amends but sooner or later I will have to move on to farm animals and princess stickers, haha! Which will also be fun, I suppose! I'll keep you posted.

Few more from the poetry book!

Little by little I am closing up this poetry book project. The poems are just heavenly, I basically just put my legs on the table and the work does itself. Hopefully both the kids and the book buyers will like it :-)

Working on a book full of poetry for kids, how awesome is that!

I have been busy with a new book for preschoolers - I actually illustrated poetry this time! How cool is that! Can't wait to see it published, although it might take a while. Until then - will try to keep you posted with some sneak peeks and cute characters from the book.

Bedtime Stories WIP

Finishing up a book full of bedtime stories for the little ones. I am actually having a blast creating all of these little animal characters (again!). I hate it when a project like this is done, usually takes a dessert or two to get over it and move on to another job (and I cannot recommend enough all of the sweets that come from the Nebo pieklo bakery haha!
